____________________________________________________________________________________________

What is required to be able to "run"/"use" the Nutrition Assistant?

You will need the following to install and use the Nutrition Assistant.

1) A Palm or "palm" compatible device. This is a device running the "Palm" OS (operating system versions 3.x, 4.x or 5.x). The device's PC desktop software must be installed on your PC. Currently compatible palms include the M100, M105, M125, M500, M505, Sony Clie series, Palm Tungsten series, Palm Zire series) Additionally, there is an version available that will run on some of the older palms such as the Palm III, IIIe an IIIxe.

Note: There are many handheld "PDA's"(personal digital assistants) which are NOT Palm compatible devices. Further since there are many "palm" devices and versions of the Palm operating system(OS) both new and old… we do not guarantee that the Nutrition Assistant will run on any particular device. So we recommend you request/get a copy of the NA demo CD and give it a try.

2) A "PC" (personal computer) running Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP. (Will not work with
Windows 3.1)

Note: It may be possible to use other versions of the Windows operating systems such as Windows 2000, etc. As with the palm devices, we can make no guarantee that any particular PC will load and/or run the Nutrition Assistant software. Our goal is for you to successfully use the Nutrition Assistant. To this end we will do all we can to help you resolve problems.

3) The Nutrition Assistant CD for installing this applications software on your PC and onto your palm device.
